The agency is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver comprehensive public relations services, including message development or market research aimed at creating unified, effective messaging for key audiences such as the media, voters, the legal profession, and the general public. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing recommendations to further brand development, thereby enhancing the agency’s reputation and positioning it as a primary resource for reliable information regarding judges standing for retention.
Responsibilities include designing a compelling advertising and public education campaign to support the launch of agency narrative profiles, sharing recommendations with the media, voters, and the public, and communicating the agency's work, evaluation processes, and mission through various channels such as news conferences, radio or television interviews, presentations, opinion or editorial pieces, feature stories, press releases, and other communications.
The vendor will be expected to leverage free media outlets—including public service announcements and opportunities across print, radio, and television—to increase public awareness regarding the agency's activities and provide credible information to New Mexico voters. Additional tasks involve recommending media buying and advertising placement strategies to maximize the campaign’s budget, identifying and advising on civic and professional partnerships for outreach, and creating supporting print and online materials that embody a cohesive agency brand and message.
