DESCRIPTION


The agency is seeking an innovative public relations firm or independent PR contractor to serve as a strategic partner in boosting its visibility across traditional and emerging media. The selected vendor will position the agency as a thought leader in Registered Apprenticeship and increase awareness among fundraising, employer, government, and ecosystem audiences.

Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with the agency’s marketing and fundraising objectives, and ensuring PR efforts correspond with quarterly marketing themes and campaigns. The contractor will build, manage, and maintain a custom media list, proactively secure earned media exposure across national, regional, trade, and digital outlets, and cultivate lasting relationships with journalists, editors, and hosts.

Additional duties involve identifying and managing podcast and unconventional media opportunities, coordinating scheduling and preparation for agency appearances, writing and refining bios for senior leadership, supporting spokesperson positioning with talking points and media preparation as needed, and refining crisis communications protocols for the leadership team.
