DESCRIPTION

The state of Utah is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive public relations, outreach, and information management services in support of various highway safety programs. Key responsibilities include organizing and conducting events such as Teen Driver Parent Nights, Truck Smart Presentations, and themed booths at conferences and community events. The selected vendor will also be responsible for providing outreach and materials for both regional and rural communities, conducting business and community outreach, and supporting cooperative efforts with the Highway Safety Office for initiatives like Child Passenger Safety Week and Safe Kids Fairs.

Additional tasks include supporting Safe Routes Utah outreach as needed and producing, distributing, and maintaining an inventory of print and branded collateral. The vendor will plan and execute the annual Zero Fatalities Teen Memoriam, managing all related outreach materials such as memory books, videos, and media event honor tables, as well as creating and distributing digital resources. Support for the Zero Fatalities Safety Summit (held in odd years) and the establishment of key performance indicators to measure and communicate the impact of outreach efforts are also required. Ongoing collaboration with program managers and coordination with the Department of Public Safety’s Highway Safety Office is essential to ensure effective outreach and minimize duplication of efforts. The contract will be for a one-year period.
