DESCRIPTION

The City seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive public relations consultant services. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering public information, communication planning and strategy, and crisis management support, including during non-business hours for time-sensitive matters. The scope includes the development and implementation of social media strategies, assisting in reviewing the City's internal communication processes, and ensuring efficient and consistent messaging.

In addition, the consultant will support targeted public information efforts, produce featured articles, press releases, publicity pieces, and outreach to residents in both digital and print formats to promote awareness of City events, services, and significant community issues. The role also involves developing quarterly newsletters and other informational communications for residents and taxpayers, overseeing their production, and providing expanded crisis communications support, additional strategic communication development, media training, and on-site or after-hours support as needed.

The contract term is for one year.
