Public Relations and Strategic Communication Services

A housing agency in Maine is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive public relations and strategic communication services. The selected vendor will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic communication plan aimed at enhancing the agency's public image, promoting housing programs, addressing community concerns, and managing media relations.

Responsibilities include providing ongoing professional media relations and marketing support for approximately two initiatives each month, conducting audience analysis to identify and engage key stakeholder groups, and developing messaging frameworks to consistently convey essential information about housing programs and policies. The vendor will also manage media inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses during routine operations and emergencies.

Additionally, the vendor will be expected to develop and utilize various communication channels, including social media platforms, to engage with residents, highlight stakeholders and community partners, share relevant updates, and respond to public concerns. Building and maintaining positive relationships with the public, staff, and stakeholders are essential components of this engagement.
