A New York agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide public relations and information services in support of a proposed capital improvement bond referendum. The objective is to ensure that the community is thoroughly informed about the scope, financial implications, and benefits associated with the proposed projects.

The selected vendor will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that guides the bond referendum process from adoption through the public voting phase. Responsibilities include identifying key stakeholder groups and tailoring outreach strategies to each, as well as drafting clear, fact-based informational materials such as newsletters, FAQs, press releases, presentations, fact sheets, flyers, and content for web and social media platforms.

Additional duties include managing media relations, which encompasses press engagement, preparing editorial submissions, and organizing interview opportunities. The vendor will also assist with the planning and promotion of public information sessions, community meetings, and school tours. Ongoing support for the agency’s website and social media channels is required, ensuring timely updates and accurate information is readily available to the public. Attendance at regular coordination meetings and the provision of progress reports that outline completed activities, upcoming milestones, and measurable outcomes are expected. The vendor will also aid in the development and analysis of community feedback tools to measure engagement and inform ongoing strategy.
