The county is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive public relations, advertising, marketing, and multimedia services under a one-year contract. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering proactive messaging, community education, sensitive issue response, and robust public engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include social media management and content creation, supporting county channels through original, branded multimedia content such as photography, short-form video, reels, animations, and graphics. The vendor will develop messaging frameworks, talking points, FAQs, and other response materials tailored for diverse audiences and platforms, ensuring accessibility and clarity. Community outreach support will involve planning and executing county-hosted events, providing on-site communications staffing, and enhancing public interface at high-visibility functions.
Additional duties entail drafting and distributing press releases, media advisories, and feature stories, as well as coordinating proactive media outreach and serving as a liaison with media partners. The scope also includes designing digital and print collateral—including flyers, posters, infographics, newsletters, and signage—in line with county branding standards, and collaborating on visual storytelling to support public education efforts. Strategic communications planning will cover the development of comprehensive strategies for key county initiatives, executive priorities, and guidance for high-profile or sensitive issues.
