A California-based agency is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive public information, communication, paid advertising, social media, and community engagement services to support its air quality, public health, and community partnership initiatives.
Responsibilities include developing a communications and community engagement plan, advising on information dissemination strategies, and preparing and distributing materials to news media. The vendor will develop talking points, coordinate media during events, and conduct paid advertising by assessing funding sources and evaluating strategies for ROI. Support for digital and social media will also be required, including managing community meetings and events, facilitating outreach to stakeholders, and supporting local Environmental Justice communities.
The scope further includes supporting public alerts and notifications related to burn day and smoke management, preparing real-time air quality news and information, and providing staff with media training and presentation materials. The contract will be for one year, and all vendor questions must be submitted no later than March 30, 2026.
