The City of Wisconsin is seeking a vendor to provide consulting services for public artists. The consultant will be responsible for managing relationships, facilitating regular meetings between the artist, the host department, stakeholders, and the community to catalyze the project. Coordination of artist talks and documentation of project developments are required.
Additional responsibilities include assisting the artist in navigating city government procedures, embedding them in agency processes, and helping the host department understand artist-driven solutions and encourage creative risk-taking. The consultant will support the public relations team in telling the project's story as it unfolds, prepare evaluations focusing on equity and outcomes, and provide ongoing administrative and project management support as projects progress.
