The City of Arizona is seeking a vendor to provide public art program services as part of a comprehensive strategy to leverage public art and placemaking for economic development, cultural preservation, and enhanced community engagement. The scope includes the enhancement of public spaces, celebrating the city's unique border identity and agricultural heritage, and transforming areas into vibrant and welcoming destinations for both residents and visitors.
Services will include the design, fabrication, and installation of both permanent and temporary public artworks, as well as site-specific commissions in public spaces, municipal facilities, or rights-of-way. Proposals may also involve mural projects on public or private properties (subject to appropriate approvals), and the integration of functional art elements such as benches, shade structures, and streetscape features. Additional opportunities include staging temporary exhibitions, rotating installations, cultural activations, and organizing community-engaged art projects, workshops, or collaborative installations.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 12, 2026. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by May 14, 2026.
