DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Timmins, Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide and install a public address network system, specifically including new network cabling infrastructure using FT6 (plenum) Category 6 network cable. All wiring must run continuously from each endpoint to the nearest primary network rack, with sufficient slack to avoid cable damage during equipment removal.
Vendors must ensure all cabling is fully tested, with test results delivered to the Board. Since school buildings do not currently have cable trays above ceilings, all new wiring should be routed down hallways where feasible. The contract period for this project will last one year. Interested vendors are required to submit any questions by April 14, 2026.
