A government authority in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking a vendor to provide property improvement services. The scope of work includes replacing sinks and faucets, which requires the removal and disposal of existing fixtures, cleaning the area, inspecting for damage, repairing cabinets, walls, and surrounding areas as needed, replacing water lines or similar parts if necessary, installing new sinks and faucets, applying silicone caulking for water-tightness, and testing for proper functionality and leak prevention.
Additionally, the vendor will be responsible for drywall repair related to exterior damage. This includes addressing ceiling damage from roof leaks or wall damage from window leaks, removing damaged drywall sections, patching holes with tape and mud, matching texture to the surrounding area, and prepping and painting the repaired sections. All services should include commonly used equipment and supplies. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than February 27, 2026.
