The government authority in Schaumburg, Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide property, casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance broker services. The selected broker will be responsible for designing, marketing, proposing, and implementing a comprehensive insurance program that ensures optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
Duties include marketing the insurance program and any requested options to obtain broad coverage at the most competitive rates with financially secure, reputable insurers. The broker must ensure all insurance is placed with eligible carriers capable of fulfilling claims obligations and will assist in reviewing contracts and certificates of insurance from other parties, including involvement with insurers, underwriters, intermediaries, and insurance regulators.
Additionally, the broker will provide risk management expertise as requested. The initial contract period will be for one year. All vendor questions must be submitted by March 30, 2026.
