Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A qualified vendor is sought to provide auditing services for property and liability workers compensation claims. The selected firm will conduct pre-interview sessions with Third Party Administrator (TPA) management and perform file reviews via online access to the TPA's claims management information system.
Each claim review must include completion of a Performance Measure Worksheet for liability audits, with thorough reporting and documentation. Additional responsibilities involve reviewing current staffing and caseloads, claims investigations, and assessing the status and success of the self-insurance program related to property, liability, and workers' compensation. The scope further includes evaluating reductions in claim expenditures, validity and justification of expenditures, administrative effectiveness, compliance with sound claims management practices, temporary disability payments, and medical management.
The primary objective is to confirm compliance with written Authority claims procedures and ensure adherence to the adjusting philosophy of the Authority. Methodology and audit requirements apply to workers' compensation as well as property, liability, and crime coverages.
