DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive audit services for property and casualty insurance claims. The scope includes evaluating claims filing procedures and forms to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Auditors are to verify that case reserves for each claim are established at appropriate jury verdict values and that these reserves are reviewed at least every ninety days, or as practical, with reviews documented in the claims diary.
The audit will assess adjuster workloads for appropriateness and ensure claims payment processes incorporate robust internal controls with adequate review and approval by claims management staff. File documentation must be complete and current, and claim resolution practices should be assessed for timeliness and appropriateness. Additionally, the audit will identify and document opportunities for recoveries on each claim. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 10, 2026.
