A government authority in Sacramento, California is seeking a vendor to provide market analysis and support services concerning one-pound and other covered propane cylinders. The selected vendor will be responsible for researching current market conditions for these cylinders, with a focus on the availability of refillable options and the assessment of existing and required infrastructure.
The scope of work includes conducting extensive outreach to inform stakeholders about new regulatory requirements, as well as developing and distributing educational and outreach materials tailored to consumers, retailers, influencers, and other parties. These materials should address topics such as the purchase, safe use, transport, maintenance, and refilling of covered cylinders. In addition, the vendor will collect data, conduct technical analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to aid in implementing a reusable or refillable cylinder system.
