The selected vendor will provide project management services for digital archiving and content lifecycle management initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan detailing scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decision gates, and resource allocation, as well as overseeing project budget, timelines, reporting, and governance processes.
The project manager must prepare regular project updates, contribute materials for steering committee reviews, and compile final reports. The role requires facilitating inclusive dialogue among stakeholders to surface operational needs, align priorities, and bridge differences. Additional duties include identifying divergences between organizational departments, supporting compromise-building, and ensuring coherent integration with existing information management initiatives and systems to avoid duplication.
Scope documentation and adjustment will be managed in response to evolving needs, ensuring continuous inter-sectional buy-in and prevention of scope creep. A focus on building and maintaining trust-based relationships with senior, technical, and operational stakeholders is paramount. The provider will also ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and information security requirements, offer technical leadership to integrate governance frameworks and solutions, and document risks, lessons learned, and recommendations to inform future project phases and scaling. Stakeholder readiness and adoption will be supported through structured engagement and clear, accessible communications.
