The selected vendor will provide project management, community outreach, and volunteer recruitment services to support ecological enhancement initiatives for a government authority in Washington. Services will be delivered on an as-needed basis and will require the contractor to design planting plans, integrate agency feedback, and effectively communicate with project partners before ordering plant materials.
The contractor will conduct door-to-door outreach within designated parcels, aiming to obtain access permissions, notify residents of ongoing projects, communicate volunteer opportunities, and deliver additional messaging as required by work orders. Strict adherence to all state, county, and municipal traffic control plans for roadways and rights-of-way is mandatory.
Additional responsibilities include recruiting, coordinating, and leading volunteers in fieldwork activities that are both ecologically and educationally beneficial. All required signage must display legally mandated language, specific information about chemical spraying, and relevant contact details. Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and expertise in ecological enhancement are essential for successful performance under this five-year contract.
