A government authority in Pasco, WA is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive project management and engineering services for public works projects. The scope of services includes overall project management, public outreach initiatives, and acquisition of rights-of-way (ROW) as needed. The selected firm will also be responsible for preparing and processing environmental compliance documents and providing full construction management and administration services.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and tracking project schedules and budgets, with a focus on the early identification of risks or potential conflicts. The vendor will be expected to schedule, organize, and facilitate regular project meetings—including the kickoff meeting—while preparing and distributing agendas and meeting minutes. Additional services involve conducting topographic surveys and data collection, applying value-engineering principles to optimize project scope and costs, and securing necessary rights of entry and temporary construction easements. Coordination with property owners and legal representatives for ROW acquisition, organizing pre-construction conferences, assisting in contract dispute resolution, maintaining daily quantity ledgers, and tracking and reporting construction costs to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget are also required.
