DESCRIPTION


This RFP seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive programming and operating services for various community events and markets. Required services include event development for themed artisan and vintage markets, cultural celebrations, car shows, specialty showcases, food and beverage festivals, university talent showcases, and non-profit spotlight events.

The selected vendor will be responsible for developing and operating farmers markets, ensuring coordination with agricultural producers, regulatory compliance, and efficient management of market layouts and vendor logistics. Additional responsibilities include the creation of an annual programming calendar, preparation and execution of a marketing plan, management of social media engagement, collaboration with the city marketing team, and production of both digital and print marketing collateral.

Furthermore, the provider must handle sponsorship and revenue generation by developing sponsorship packages, securing corporate sponsors, managing vendor fees and ticketing revenues when applicable, and ensuring financial transparency. The contract term is for one year.
