DESCRIPTION


This RFP seeks a professional management operator or operator team to oversee all aspects of Venue 1842 operations in Texas. The scope of work includes managing private event rentals and providing space for educational sessions, classes, VIP opportunities, temporary exhibits, and special events. Comprehensive sales, marketing, booking, and scheduling activities are expected to ensure a diverse mix of event bookings, such as weddings, meetings, retreats, and community gatherings.

The selected operator will be responsible for delivering all incidental facility services, including promotions, sponsorship sales, food service and concessions (including alcohol sales), ticketing services, and facility maintenance such as landscaping, custodial services, and security. Financial and administrative duties include accounting, budgeting, purchasing, human resources, contracting, collecting revenues, and managing expenditures for proper operation and supervision of the venue.

Additionally, the operator will be required to develop annual plans and operational budgets with clear performance measures and provide ongoing advice and assistance related to venue management. Preparation of timely and accurate operational reports is also required.
