DESCRIPTION


The local government authority in Glastonbury, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive reappraisal and revaluation services for all taxable and non-taxable real property within the town. The selected vendor will assist the town assessor with the complete reappraisal and revaluation process, including performing all necessary appraisal calculations. Vendors are required to maintain all computerized assessment records using Vision appraisal software.

Responsibilities include conducting presentations for taxpayers, local officials, and civic groups to enhance understanding of the project's scope and objectives. The vendor must take digital images of 1,500 properties selected by the assessor and prepare as well as mail assessment notices informing property owners of proposed new values. Additionally, the vendor will verify all residential sales transactions occurring between April 1, 2026, and October 1, 2027 by performing physical inspections and capturing digital images of each sale property at the time of inspection, with these inspections expected to occur monthly.
