DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Long Beach, California seeks a vendor to provide professional project management services on an as-needed and on-call basis. The selected firm will support the delivery of projects across all phases, including planning, design development, bidding and award, construction, and closeout. Specialized support for land use initiatives may also be required as applicable.

The scope includes project management office (PMO) support such as risk assessment, sustainability initiatives, lessons learned facilitation, asset management assistance, and development of guidance documents. Additional responsibilities involve supporting and managing capital programs, defining project scopes, coordinating resources, assisting in project initiation and budgeting, and managing quarterly capital expenditures and forecasts.

Vendors will be expected to monitor and update project schedules, solicit and track budgets, coordinate closely with design and construction managers, facilitate meetings with stakeholders and agencies, and handle documentation such as agendas and minutes. Development of a Project Delivery Plan and support for agency permitting efforts are part of the requirements.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 25, 2026, and an optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 18, 2026.
