A government authority in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional landscape architecture design services in support of its capital program for facilities located in designated Parks Regions. The selected design team will develop project schematics, renderings, design documents, phase studies, investigations, assessments, and detailed reports, as well as related consulting services.
The scope of work may encompass a wide array of project types, including the design of recreational facilities, implementation of green infrastructure, hardscape and softscape development, multi-use trails, boardwalks, ADA-accessible routes, and transportation-related facilities such as parking lots, roads, and sidewalks. Additional services may involve utility coordination, site planning, irrigation, playgrounds, spray pads, wayfinding and interpretive signage, environmental interpretation, archeology, wetland delineations, drone services, public engagement, stakeholder coordination, maintenance and operations planning, master planning, planting design, forestry, horticultural consultation, and cost estimating.
The contract will span a five-year period, during which the vendor will be required to provide responsive and comprehensive landscape architectural support across multiple project areas and infrastructure types as outlined above.
