DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Irrigon, Oregon, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional land use planning services on an on-call, as-needed basis. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering technical review, advisory support, drafting assistance, and other planning services for both current and long-range land use applications and projects.

Duties include providing technical review of reports and documents related to land use applications, especially those associated with renewable energy projects. This may involve wildlife mitigation plans, archaeological and geotechnical studies, erosion control and glare analyses, and other specialized technical reports. The vendor will also assist in updating the comprehensive plan through reformatting, editing, codification, inclusion of adopted amendments, research, demographic updates, and drafting new goals and policies.

Additional responsibilities include attending or providing support for pre-application meetings and reviewing floodplain development permit applications. The contract will be for a period of two years, with all inquiries to be submitted by May 7, 2026.
