DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide a professional integrator system with a strong focus on Ignition SCADA deployments for municipal infrastructure. The contractor must be a licensed systems integrator with proven experience in implementing Ignition SCADA solutions, with a track record supporting municipal lift station projects. Solutions must adhere to industry best practices for security—including VPN-based secure connectivity, encryption of all data in transit, and multi-factor authentication to enable secure remote access.

Work will involve upgrading PLC programming, enhancing cellular communications, and unifying data collection and reporting across all lift stations. The awarded vendor will install and configure Ignition SCADA software on redundant industrial-grade servers, and implement both Vision and Perspective modules to facilitate desktop and mobile access. The project aims to transition operations to a centralized, web-based Ignition SCADA platform, configure alarm notifications via email and SMS, and enable historical data trending.

Additionally, the vendor will optimize database indexing and archiving for efficient resource utilization, and design custom Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) suitable for mobile and desktop use. The agreement is set to cover a three-year period, with a pre-proposal meeting scheduled and all clarifying questions due before the submission deadline.
