DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Marana, Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive professional geotechnical services. Scope of work will include geotechnical, geological, and seismic investigations and analyses; the review and preparation of geotechnical reports, pavement design reports, concrete/soil cement mix designs, and materials memorandums.
Vendors will be responsible for materials sampling and field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, mortar, masonry units, and both structural and reinforcing steel. The scope further includes sampling and testing of asphaltic concrete and asphaltic oils; conducting certified special inspections and non-destructive testing; preparing special inspections and reviewing and reporting on their results. Field observation of civil engineering construction activities and the preparation of activity reports are also required.
