DESCRIPTION
A Florida government authority is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive professional engineering services for bridge projects. Scope of work includes bridge inspection, including specialized underwater inspections, as well as underwater investigation. Vendors will be responsible for conducting structural and geotechnical testing and analysis, repair and rehabilitation analysis and design, scour evaluation and countermeasure design, and preparation of bridge replacement or rehabilitation study reports.
The selected firm will also provide bridge replacement design, develop design–build criteria packages, and offer emergency bridge inspection and assessment support within twenty-four (24) hours of notification. Additional responsibilities include supporting public communications and offering strategic guidance informed by experience in Bridge Preservation Programs.
