DESCRIPTION


A government authority in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive professional engineering design services in support of its Capital program. Services will encompass project schematics, renderings, design work, phase studies, investigations, assessments, and report preparation across a wide array of project types.

Specific areas of expertise required include geotechnical subsurface investigations, survey and mapping (including bathymetry), hazardous material investigations and abatement, archaeological services, building forensics and fatigue analysis, and utility design and upgrades for water, sanitary, sewer, and electric systems. The vendor will also be responsible for water and wastewater treatment systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural design, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, heat pump systems, restroom and bathhouse design, recreational facilities such as pools and water features, and building management systems.

Additional responsibilities include dam condition evaluation, energy and sustainability projects, solar system coordination, storm drainage and water management, coastal stabilization, roadway, bridge, and infrastructure improvements, site planning, trail design and rehabilitation, wetland investigations, waterfront design, shoreline protection, ADA compliance, cost estimating and life cycle analysis, environmental protection, mitigation strategies, emergency response planning, and risk assessment. The awarded contract will span a five-year period.
