A government authority in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional engineering design services in support of its Capital program for facilities within the identified Parks Regions. Services include developing project schematics, renderings, comprehensive project designs, phase studies, investigations, assessments, and related reports.
The scope of work covers a broad range of design and engineering tasks, such as utility design and upgrades (including water, sanitary, sewer, and electric), storm drainage and storm water management, waterfront designs (including boat launches, docks, beach and water quality improvements), and shoreline and environmental protection and mitigation. Additional services required are rock scaling, building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural design, building commissioning, restrooms and bathhouse design, roadway improvements and infrastructure, multi-use trail design and rehabilitation, amusement park ride foundation design, and the design of recreational facilities such as pools and other water features. The scope also encompasses geotechnical and subsurface investigations, slope stabilization, wetland delineations and investigations, as well as bridge design.
The contract period for the engagement will be five years.
