Professional Engineering Consultant Services

The government authority in Florida is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive professional engineering consultant services, serving as its General Engineering Consultant (GEC). Responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of a five-year work plan, which involves program management tasks such as preparing cost estimates, schedules, exhibits, maps, dashboards, and presentations for meetings and briefings.

The selected firm will also provide bond financing support by preparing annual reports to bond holders, annual inspection reports, and engineer’s reports for bond sales. Additional duties encompass general and long-range planning, project management—including coordination with architectural and design consultants, overseeing plan processing, plan review, and providing support for construction advertisement. The contract further requires right-of-way support services, specifically managing right-of-way consultants in areas such as appraisal, review appraisals, and right-of-way acquisition.
