Professional Engineering and Planning Services

The City of Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional engineering and planning services in support of various infrastructure projects. The scope of work includes engineering, design, and planning for roadway and intersection improvements, multimodal facilities, and active-transportation enhancements such as bicycle and pedestrian networks, sidewalks, and greenways.

Key responsibilities include the development of preliminary designs, assistance with preliminary engineering phases, and support for right-of-way acquisition on projects funded by Federal or State sources. Additionally, the vendor will be expected to produce traffic engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates, as well as conduct operational analyses pertaining to traffic engineering. The contract will be for a period of three years and covers a range of civil and site-development tasks aimed at improving the city's transportation infrastructure.
