A government authority in Washington, NC is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering and planning services for airport development. The scope of work includes master planning, land use planning, environmental analysis, engineering studies, and infrastructure improvements such as grading, drainage, utilities, paving for airfield and roadway pavements, hangars, terminal buildings, fueling systems, and stormwater management.
Additional responsibilities may involve obstruction analysis and removal, airfield lighting, and signage enhancements. Selected firms will be expected to assist with all phases of airport planning and development, including land acquisition, preliminary and final design, cost estimating, bidding, and construction administration.
