The desired system should facilitate both professional learning and effective management of employee absences and substitute assignments. Features should include robust tracking of background checks, certifications, training, and expiration dates, with automated alerts to ensure compliance. Employees must be able to easily submit absence requests—including sick, personal, or professional development leave—via both mobile and web platforms.
The solution must include a detailed implementation plan that addresses configuration, testing, data migration, user training, and system rollout. It should also provide live dashboards displaying key metrics such as substitute fill rates by school, department, and district.
