The government authority in New Jersey is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide professional development and implementation support focused on enhancing behavioral systems and staff practices within schools. This initiative aims to establish structured interventions and individualized support, enabling students to transition successfully back to traditional school settings when appropriate.

The project encompasses strengthening the school’s behavioral framework through the development of clear expectations, proactive behavioral instruction, and consistent de-escalation strategies. Additional focus areas include restorative discipline practices, crisis prevention, classroom management tailored for alternative education settings, and processes for behavioral data monitoring and student transition protocols. Leadership coaching is also required to ensure sustainable implementation and consistent staff responses to behavioral challenges.

Vendors should demonstrate expertise in supporting students with significant behavioral needs and in establishing leadership systems that foster ongoing improvements in behavioral support.
