DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Charleston, West Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional audit services. The selected firm will prepare an Audit Report containing all required financial statements, notes, analyses, and reports in accordance with Governmental Auditing Standards for proprietary funds engaged in business-type activities.

The auditor will be responsible for following up on prior audit findings, assessing the reasonableness of the summary schedule of prior findings, and reporting instances where the schedule materially misrepresents the status of any audit issues. The audit is set to commence on a mutually agreed date after June 30 of each year. Additionally, auditors are expected to hold entrance conferences with staff and key board members to discuss audit procedures, logistics, and potential concerns prior to the engagement.
