DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Houston, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive press release distribution services for its Media Relations Department. The selected provider will deliver full-service newswire support, including the distribution of news and press releases, media advisories to print media, broadcasters, journalists, bloggers, social media platforms, and AP wires. Additional services required encompass copy editing, proofreading in AP style, and support for staff prior to release distribution.

The scope includes approximately 40 national, non-earnings releases per year with unlimited word count, and bulk-rate comprehensive service packages. Providers must also offer up to 60 multimedia distribution options annually, ensure the inclusion of logos with each release, and incorporate search engine optimization. Other distribution methods, such as fax and email, are needed, as well as the ability to generate reports analyzing the effectiveness and productivity of each release.
