The state of Rhode Island is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive Pre-K assessment system. This solution should offer a statewide, systematic approach to monitor and report on children's learning and developmental progress within Pre-K programs, using both pre- and post-assessment tools.
The assessment system must be capable of administration in the Fall and Spring to effectively measure child growth over time. It should be designed for ease of use within classroom environments, minimizing disruption to instructional time, and be accessible to young children. The platform needs to support state-level customization, including the ability to input or modify data collected during summative assessment, as well as review and adjust reports as necessary.
Additionally, the platform should be online, support multiple data input modalities, and feature a user-friendly interface to enable teachers to efficiently upload documentation. It should also include an online data entry system that records educator-generated documentation throughout the formative assessment process.
