The Maryland Judiciary is seeking a qualified vendor to design and implement five Power BI data visualization dashboards. The project aims to deliver timely and meaningful data, analysis, and research to judicial leadership, government partners, court staff, AOC programs, and the public, supporting evidence-based decision-making throughout the Judiciary.
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing professional creative and user experience (UX) design services to ensure the dashboards and reports are clear, accessible, and user-friendly for diverse audiences. Responsibilities include advising on optimal design and analytic strategies, including visualizations, interaction patterns, filtering, and performance optimization. The project involves preparing and modifying existing ADC, FTC, and Procedural Justice datasets for Power BI, creating efficient and updatable data models, and developing optimized Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) measures to ensure responsive performance.
Additionally, the vendor must implement role-based access control through username-based row-level security, ensuring only authorized users have access to specific data. The scope also includes recommending efficient ETL processes and suitable deliverable file formats to facilitate ongoing data updates.
