The government authority in Vermillion, South Dakota is seeking a vendor to provide pouring rights and vending services across its campus facilities. This includes the installation and maintenance of beverage and snack vending machines, as well as fountain dispensers in all food service areas. All vending machines must be Energy Star certified, accept coins, bills, credit/debit cards, and the agency Coyote Card, with preference for mobile credential compatibility.
Vendors are required to ensure machines are equipped with occupancy–sensing power saving features and must provide year-round service to all equipment, maintaining a maximum 24-hour service response time. Machines that are out of service for more than 72 hours must be replaced promptly. The proposal should contain an itemized list of products available through vending machines, fountain dispensers, or convenience stores. The initial contract period will be two years.
