DESCRIPTION
The government authority located in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a consultant to provide post-retirement deferred compensation plan services. The selected provider will enable employees to choose between federal retirement or deferred compensation plans and will be responsible for depositing monies into the participants’ funding choices based on their latest allocation instructions.
Responsibilities include conducting daily valuations of funding options, posting and processing intra-plan transfers for both the overall plan and individual participant accounts, and preparing quarterly statements detailing account balances for participants. The provider must also ensure participants have account access and management capabilities, including online tools, statement frequency, and reporting to the district.
Additionally, the provider will handle the posting of contributions and forfeitures according to plan terms, prepare and distribute beneficiary designation forms, distribution election forms, and required tax notices related to plan distributions.
