The requesting organization seeks a vendor to provide a Portrait Learner Solution that enables students to collect and curate various forms of evidence, including documents, images, video, audio, links, and other digital artifacts. The platform must allow organization of these artifacts by student, class, course, school year, competency, project, pathway, or other configurable structures.
Key requirements include tools for teacher feedback on artifacts, projects, or portfolio entries, with the option for comments and multimedia feedback. The system should feature revision workflows, permitting students to refine their work over time rather than only submit a single final artifact. Additionally, the solution must facilitate alignment of student work to competencies, durable skills, rubrics, standards, or other district-defined outcomes.
The platform should support evaluation and scoring by teachers and, if configured, additional evaluators such as community members, panelists, or mentors. Student agency in selecting portfolio evidence is crucial, modifiable by teacher expectations. Comprehensive reporting or dashboard capabilities for evidence, rubric scores, competency progress, and implementation activity are also required, with user roles and permissions determining access levels. Integration with Azure AD / Microsoft-based single sign-on or the district-approved Clever authentication is essential.
