Pop-Up Gathering Space Services

A project in New York seeks a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, and install a modular, climate-resilient pop-up gathering space. The vendor will be responsible for developing a creative concept and comprehensive design plan that aligns with established programmatic requirements. Key responsibilities include sourcing and creating physical elements for the pop-up space, such as custom street furniture, and executing the entire fit-out and installation process.

The intended pop-up will convert approximately 475 square meters into a dynamic, community-centered public area suitable for passive recreation, community engagement, educational activities, and other programming. Emphasis should be placed on climate resilience, ensuring the space features strategies for passive thermal comfort and urban heat mitigation. The proposed design must be innovative and modular, allowing for adaptable future uses. Additional tasks include conducting a risk assessment with mitigation strategies, organizing a design workshop with stakeholders, and providing a detailed logistics and implementation plan, followed by completion of the installation in line with this plan.
