Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Minnesota seeks a vendor to conduct psychological examination services for police officers. The service will include evaluations for officers who may be exhibiting signs of emotional or mental unfitness, covering circumstances such as referrals from supervisors, employee complaints (internal or external), and complaints related to use of force, inappropriate conduct, or lack of self-control and discipline.
The process involves interviewing officers to assess psychological safety and fitness for duty. Additional triggers for evaluation include significant behavioral changes that impede the fulfillment of job functions, irrational conduct, evidence of delusions or hallucinations, suicidal behavior or statements, noticeable changes in eating patterns, and personal hygiene neglect. The objective is to ensure that all police officers are psychologically fit to perform their duties safely and effectively.
