DESCRIPTION


The City of Brookhaven, GA is seeking a qualified vendor to provide renovation services for its police department, specifically aimed at transforming an existing approximately 1,400 square foot community meeting room into a state-of-the-art real-time operations centre.

The project will involve selective demolition of existing partitions, ceilings, floor finishes, doors, glazing, millwork, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) devices, following all provided drawings and specifications. The contractor must ensure the protection of adjacent construction, finishes, and building systems that are to remain operational, including ongoing police department activities in neighboring spaces, and repair any damage incurred during the renovation.

Scope of work includes constructing new metal stud and gypsum board partitions to create operations areas, breakout collaboration spaces, storage rooms, and additional support spaces as outlined in the project documents. Installation of new doors, frames, and hardware will also be required to ensure secure access to the centre, including fire-rated assemblies and appropriate seals as specified.

The contract for these services will run for four years.
