Alberta is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a comprehensive Point of Sale (POS) Inventory Management System for a two-year contract. The system must offer full integration of sales processing, inventory tracking, detailed analytics, and reporting capabilities within a centralized solution.
Key requirements include sales transaction processing (cash, credit/debit, and mobile payments), barcode scanning, product lookup, customer management, and loyalty program integration. The system should support discounts, promotions, and tax calculations, as well as real-time inventory tracking and automated stock replenishment alerts. Detailed reporting on sales, stock turnover, shrinkage, and audit trails are essential features.
The POS solution must also integrate seamlessly with financial and other existing internal systems, support data migration, and provide secure login and data encryption. Additional responsibilities for the selected vendor include project management, system setup, ongoing software updates, patch management, and resolution of any warranty or defect issues. All vendor questions regarding the project must be submitted by November 27, 2025.
