Planning Department Software

The City of New York is seeking vendors to provide comprehensive planning department software to support a range of municipal processes. The desired solution should feature a dynamic form builder capable of handling multi-page forms with progress indicators, real-time validation, and GIS data mapping. Users should be able to save forms as drafts and resume completion at a later time, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in data collection.

The software must include robust document management and AI-driven capabilities, such as document versioning, revision tracking, file moderation, and automated file naming and organization. Human-in-the-loop AI is required for advanced analysis of file uploads. The system should facilitate the generation of permits and certificates directly from project data, offer template-based document creation with dynamic data integration, and support digital signatures for secure approvals.

An integrated agenda management module is required, enabling users to add project-specific files to agendas, provide real-time updates, and distribute agendas efficiently. Additional features should include granular data visibility controls to determine user permissions throughout the project review process and an automated workflow for application processing. This workflow should offer automatic routing based on application type, as well as email notifications to keep stakeholders informed of status changes.
