PKAA PVC Roof Construction at F. E. Warren AFB

The U.S. Government is preparing to issue a solicitation for the construction and installation of PKAA PVC roofs at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. This project is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 238160 (Roof Contractors) and has an estimated value between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The work involves two main roof types: Roof Type 1 (multiple buildings), which requires a fully adhered membrane system with an edge-to-edge, no dollar limit warranty, able to withstand 3-inch diameter hail and 120 MPH winds, and Roof Type 2 (Building 34), requiring similar specifications but meeting a 2-inch hail resistance. Both types demand a 20-year warranty, demolition of the existing PVC down to the deck, prefinished metal copings, flashings, vapor barrier, layered rigid insulation, high-density gypsum, fasteners, adhesives, roof drains, and metal covers, with specified total weight limits per roof type.
