The new online platform must streamline the entire pistol permit lifecycle while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and technical standards. The solution is expected to support multiple agencies on a unified platform, maintaining strict data segregation so users can only access their own records, and guarantee zero data loss during the transition from legacy systems.
Key requirements include a user-friendly interface that is automated and compliant with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) standards. The scope of services covers system design, implementation, testing and validation, data conversion and migration, as well as ongoing maintenance and support.
