A California healthcare organization is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) fully integrated with their existing Epic Electronic Health Record (Health Link). The scope of the project includes planning, installation, configuration, acceptance testing, and ongoing training for both equipment and software. The selected vendor will be responsible for the seamless migration and consolidation of over 300TB of radiology images accumulated over two decades, while ensuring the system is scalable to support future growth.
The system must interface smoothly with Health Link as well as various dictation and third-party tools, and support multiple file formats such as JPEG, PDF, and DICOM. Additional requirements include effective change management processes to minimize operational disruption, robust reporting capabilities, and providing access for customized data queries beyond standard reports. Comprehensive post-go-live support is expected, continuing until the Radiology department determines that the system is stable for routine use. The successful implementation will equip staff with effective training programs designed to optimize system utilization.
